Bayou Fem Fest is an organization that celebrates all of the women in this world. They will do so by hosting a live music festival, Clam Jam, to showcase original female musicians and foster a community of music and arts here in Houston. The festival will feature three stages, 12 original singer-songwriters, belly dancers, a huge outdoor market, and a variety of local food vendors. The ladies performing are from all over, including Houston, Austin, and Nashville. Ten percent of proceeds will be donated to the Houston Area Women's Center to aid in their mission to end domestic abuse.
