Bayou City Theatrics offers a brand new production that pledges to return the piece to its Vaudevillian roots. Artistic director Colton Berry and resident choreographer Luke Hamilton have set out to create a dazzling production while maintaining the gritty soul of its predecessors.

Based on the 1926 play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, this gin-soaked satirical musical follows starry eyed housewife Roxie Hart (Derrien Kellum), who has shot and killed her lover in a drunken dispute during the Prohibition era. With the help of her devoted husband, Amos (Brian Chambers), Roxie obtains the greasiest, yet most successful lawyer in town, Billy Flynn (Kyle Ezer), who explains that she can use the media's interest in her murder trial to gain stardom.
