Two awesome sporty events in one evening for those who need to practice kayak rolling and in water hockey. Don't have a roll and want to learn how? Bayou City Outdoors has kayakers who are always looking for guinea pigs who want a little help.

Guests will be practicing rolls from 8 to 8:30 p.m. while the polo court is set up. Then, Bayou City Outdoors heads to the Clear Lake City Community Association indoor pool where two teams of five to 10 players paddle kayaks and pass a water polo ball using their hands and paddle. The object of the game is to throw the ball into the goal of the opposing team, though players cannot paddle while holding onto the ball. They can only hold the ball for five seconds before they must pass or dribble.

The group must carry insurance to play at this pool. Insurance will be underwritten by the American Canoe Association. If you are an ACA member bring your card as insurance is complimentary for members. If you are not an ACA member bring $5 cash. For Bayou City Outdoors members, ACA membership is $30 for a full year instead of the standard $40 per year.
