Go to Bayou City Art Festival for an artful promenade and take in the wide array of artwork, music and dance amid the downtown skyline. Sponsored by Capital One Bank, the Bayou City Art Festival is ranked as one of the top festivals in the country by AmericanStyle magazine. Juried by professionals at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the festival features more than 300 artists. This year marks the festival's 40th anniversary.
Note: The festival is in front of City Hall and around Hermann Square on Walker, Bagby, and McKinney, as well as in Sam Houston Park and Tranquility Park.
