Bring your folding chair or blanket to enjoy Opera Vista's annual presentation under stars in the gardens of Bayou Bend. "Simply American Songs and Gifts" is the theme of the evening that features songs by American composers and closes with Aaron Copeland's Appalachian Spring. The music begins at 8 p.m. but you can visit the central hall of the historic Bayou Bend house between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m.
