Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
Bayou Bend invites guests to travel back to the time of George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin at "The Great American Songbook Cabaret." Houston's Music Box Theater troupe will entertain guests in the Diana Garden with popular American tunes from the 1920s to the 1950s.
The two-hour performance will take place in a tent, with seating provided.
Gates open at 7:15 p.m.; performance starts at 8 p.m.
