February marks the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' U.S. debut on the Ed Sullivan Show back in 1964. To commemorate this momentous occasion, the Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre presents "A Stroll Down Abbey Road." This contemporary-style dance production is a first for the company as it pays tribute to one of history's most iconic musical groups. Enjoy selections from the Beatles' extensive catalog that reach beyond their acclaimed, best-selling Abbey Road album.
Some of the featured songs include "Here Comes the Sun," "Because," "Eleanor Rigby," "Black Bird," "Yellow Submarine" and "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." A variety of dance styles will be performed, such as contemporary, tap, neo-classical and silks.
