Event chairs Neil and Maria Bush will lead in celebrating the 31st annual A Celebration of Reading, the signature fundraiser for the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation.
Recognizing what would have been Mrs. Bush’s 100th birthday, the program will shine a light on the importance of reading in the community
It will feature a line-up of four bestselling authors, including Grammy-nominated comedian Nate Bargartze; New York Times best-selling author of more than 30 books H.W. Brands; Emmy-winning actor, producer, director and author Kelsey Grammer; and award-winning, New York Times bestselling author of eight books James McBride.
Guests will enjoy the program and seated dinner, as well as a silent auction and raffle.
