Two-time Grammy winner and Blue Note recording jazz/soul artist Robert Glasper performs at the historic pews of St. John's Church Downtown. Glasper and his band, the Robert Glasper Experiment, will take the stage for a first home-town performance since his last Grammy win, The Grammy Session, a celebration of Glasper's rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Jesus Children of America" with Lalah Hathaway and Malcolm Jamal Warner.

Back Pew Concert Series, a collaborative partnership between St. John's Church and More Than A Rib Productions, is a progressive, creative arts and musical performance experience housed among the ageless pews of St. John's Church Downtown. Back Pew Concert Series presents its audiences with the unique opportunity to revel in music that touches the souls by opening the stage to diverse cultural acts.

Proceeds from the Back Pew Concert Series go directly to the Bread of Life, the mission of which is to eradicate homelessness in Houston.
