Bach Society Houston presents "Bach Vespers: Music from Hamburg"

Bach Society Houston presents "Bach Vespers: Music from Hamburg." The program will include J. S. Bach'a Erhöhtes Fleisch und Blut, BWV 173, H. Praetorius' Cantate Domino canticum novum and Brahms' Psalm 13, Op. 27. These pieces will be sung by the Bach Choir and accompanied by the the period instrument ensemble of Mercury. Featured soloists are Camille Emig, soprano; Rebecca Seekatz, alto; Patrick Perez, tenor; and Brendan Emig, bass; directed by Albert LeDoux.

A pre-concert lecture at 5:15 p.m. will be given by musicologist Carrie Allen Tipton.
