Aurora Picture Show is reviving Soul Nite at the Eldorado Ballroom in conjunction with Project Row Houses. Vintage performance footage of musical greats including James Brown, Lee Dorsey, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, and Linda Carr will be introduced by guest curator Peter Lucas.
The Eldorado Ballroom was the spot for upscale blues and jazz performances from the 1930s to the 1970s. Peter Lucas has developed music film programs for numerous film festivals, including the Seattle International Film Festival.
