Dust off your slide, video, film or overhead projector and BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer) to the Menil Collection. Aurora Picture Show partners with the Menil Collection to celebrate the moving image with Houston's first BYOB event during which anyone can bring their own projection device and beam their images, videos or films onto the museum's facade.

BYOB is an idea originated by New York-based artist Rafaël Rozendaal. The idea is simple: Find a place, invite many artists, ask them to bring their projectors. BYOB is not just limited to artists; anyone who is interested in moving light, sound and performance is invited to participate.
