2nd Annual Turkish Music Festival

The Turkish Music Festival will be an educational and entertaining night highlighting a range of Turkish traditions, from folk music and Ottoman court music, to the contemporary music of Turkey. Along with Hoppa Project conducted by Erberk Eryılmaz, this concert will feature Grammy-nominated composer and performer of traditional Turkish instruments, Mehmet Ali Şanlıkol, and the two-time top winner of the Chamber Music America/ASCAP Award for Adventurous Programming, San Francisco-based Del Sol String Quartet.

The festival will be at Asia Society Texas Center on January 18 and at Duncan Recital Hall at Rice University on January 19.
