Ashlar Development and The Groves will host Dashing through the Groves, a fun run to celebrate the opening of the new road connecting Madera Run and Woodland Hills Drive. With the new connection, drive time to Beltway 8 will be reduced to just a 5-minute commute for Groves residents.
Post-race, participants and the public are invited to enjoy free holiday family activities including a trackless train, snow hill, bounce house, food trucks, a hot chocolate station and more family-friendly activities.
Race proceeds will benefit the YMCA of Greater Houston and Insperity Adaptive Sports Complex. The Complex provides children with disabilities and special needs a barrier-free environment to play and participate in team sports and features two Miracle League multipurpose fields.
