The event brings together Houston artists Carter Ernst, Elaine Bradford and Ed Wilson with San Antonio's Megan Harrison and Ken Little and Austin's Jules Buck Jones to talk about their work in Agrestis Animi, currently on exhibition in the Alliance Gallery. A reception will follow the talk, with beverages donated by Saint Arnold Brewing Company.

Featuring the work of eight regional artists who explore and question knowledge and awareness of animal dominico, Argrestis Animi (The Wild Mind) is on view until Dec. 7. Using traditional and non-traditional media, the artists challenge people's anthropomorphic tendencies. This show engages viewers on a personal and universal level, as well as questions the domesticated and romantic notions of the natural world.
