This lecture explores stories of spiritual awakening. Led by Anne C. Klein, the lecture addresses Tibetan Buddhist traditions and how they are embodied in images from Tibet and works of art in the Nidhika and Pershant Mehta Arts of India Gallery at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Anne C. Klein is a professor of religious studies at Rice University, founding director of Dawn Mountain Tibetan Buddhist Temple and Dawn Mountain Community Center & Research Institute, and author of Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse: A Story of Transmission.
