Georges Braque, co-pioneer of Cubism with Pablo Picasso, approached his subject with an analytic eye and from simultaneous perspectives, inventing a new kind of fractured reality. This workshop begins with a brief tour in the exhibition Georges Braque: A Retrospective to view Cubist paintings. Once in the Glassell School of Art's painting studio, artist Beth Secor leads participants in the creation of their own Cubist painting incorporating images and patterns cut from magazines.

The workshop is limited to 20 participants and includes a tour of the exhibition, art-making instruction and materials, and light refreshments. Meet in the lobby of the museum's Audrey Jones Beck Building.
