Artist Bob Russell presents an art exhibition based on satellite imagery of the earth and the relationship between man and nature. After reading John McPhee’s book Annals of the Former World, a geological tour of the continental U.S., Russell focused on the aerial perspective of rivers and their formation of oxbows, lakes, and changes in directions, presenting the images in a blurred and altered way, just like the earth.
The opening reception will take place from 5 - 7 p.m. on May 4. The exhibition will be on view May 2 - 28.
