"PRINTTX" is a juried exhibition of contemporary Texas printmaking organized by PrintMatters and the Museum of Printing History as part of PrintHouston 2013. The show is juried by Peter S. Briggs, the Helen DeVitt Jones Curator of Art at the Museum of Texas Tech University.
Forty-five artists submitted prints. Briggs chose 23 original prints by 20 artists. The artists chosen represent both emerging and established artists from throughout Texas, including from Kingsville, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas.
The opening reception is on June 13, 6-8 p.m. Artist talks are scheduled for June 15, 2-4 p.m.
