Art opening reception: Roundels and Totems by Arthur Turner

Roundels and Totems showcases a new series of watercolors by Arthur Turner. This exhibition is a continuation of his previous exhibition titled Roundels and Victories, which was on view at Moody Gallery in 2011. The watercolors range in size from 40 by 60 inches at the largest scale to 14 by 10 inches. A grid of 25, 6-by-6-inch works will be on display as well.

Turner has exhibited throughout Texas and the United States. His work is part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the McNay Art Museum, San Antonio, and the Museum of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He's been a watercolor instructor at the Glassell School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston since 1969 and has been represented by Moody Gallery since its conception in 1975.
