Rhythm and Grain by sculptor Caprice Pierucci speaks of mortality and the huge expanses of time that lead to one particular moment of beauty. Experiencing the work is intended to be sensual and more importantly, to establish a deeper underlying place to reflect. Conceptually, this exhibition touches on the significance of eternity and time.

Pierucci received a BFA from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. She currently resides and works in Austin, and is best known for wood wall relief works inspired by earth erosion, cal trite cave formations and wind on desert sands.

On view through May 3.
