July 8 marked the first day that emerging artists from Houston colleges and universities started working in their studios. The six week studio period ends on Aug. 16. On Aug. 17, an opening of what they produced opens to the public. This year, PRH teamed up with Rice University's Office of Fellowship and Undergraduate Research to create an interdisciplinary team that will work together to bear on the history, community value and future use of the Eldorado Ballroom.
