Person | Provenance: Impression includes works by Kent Schaffer, Jen Hannaford and Kelley Devine. The group exhibition reframes people, places and things to reveal what's not often seen.
Schaffer, who's a criminal defense attorney in addition to being an artist, captures his subjects through photography on metal and fiber paper. Hannaford's impressionist works are infused by her vocation as a forensic scientist/fingerprint.
This group exhibit runs concurrently with the first-ever Houston showing of the Kent Schaffer-produced film, An Unreal Dream, which will be presented at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival prior to airing on CNN.
