No Matter How Hard I Try I Can't Look The Same As I Did Yesterday is a new performative installation by soprano Lisa Harris. Through live vocal performance, video projection and photography, this part-fiction, part-autobiographical exhibition explores the unique experience of being a former child entertainer and the ensuing commodification of self.

Using a piano, dressing table, artificially aged headshots, video projection, invented reviews and aged flower arrangements, Harris blends her real history with fiction to create a dream-like environment in which to perform.
