Lance Letscher is an internationally recognized Austin artist who exhibits in France, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland. He is also in numerous collections including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Austin Museum of Art, The McNay Museum of Art, Museum of Southeast Texas and Libres Del Trapez in Barcelona, Spain.
Letscher's meticulously crafted collages immerse the viewer in his imaginative construction process. Cutting from vintage books and gleaning from images often associated with machinery and industry, Letscher utilizes the delicacy of paper to create a paradoxical world where mass production and chaotic happenstance collide.
