The Joanna presents Jang Soon's collages, animations and soundscapes. Jang Soon is currently in his second year at the MFAH CORE Residency program. The artists says: "Considering the modern presentations of Asian military culture are filtered through globally dominant western culture and perspectives, my practice interrogates its cultural and historical transformation through media transmission and tries to decode its mediation through materializing the flat visual on plasma screen."
