Art opening reception: "I'STASSOLYE: An Exploration of Exquisite Aggregation"

Poster by Jonathan Jardin

"I'STASSOLYE" is an exquisite corpse constructed by the artists of the exhibition that focuses primarily on the traditions of Dadaist assemblage and collage and how these traditions have been transformed through the passage of time and artistic practice. Recurring themes in this exhibition include the collectivity of memory, tangible and intangible qualities acquired in the digital age, transplantation and disorientation, and how compounded evolutionary stages promote formal and societal obsolescence.

Curated by Monica Foote, featured artists include: Maggie Hooyman, Jonathan Jardin, Paris Jomadiao, Alyssa Stephens and Alonso Tapia.

On view through Jan. 11.
