Art opening reception: Interpretive Voices

Interpretive Voices is a group show that explores the manifestation of expression in contemporary art while looking to the past to comment on social ideologies. Through deconstruction, transformation and reinterpretation, each artist asks the viewer to participate and continue the narrative by questioning how the understanding of the past is viewed in the present.

Featured artists include ceramicist Jessica Dupuis from Chapel Hill, N.C., multi-media artist Erin Stafford from Dallas, paintings and drawings from San Antonio artist Megan Harrison and two dimensional works by Jade Cooper of Houston.

On view through Aug. 17.
