"Heartbreakers and Life Takers" is fourth in a series of monthly, grassroots, pop-up street art shows that focus on local, regional and national graffiti, street art and contemporary urban artists. "Heartbreakers and Life Takers" will feature a gallery show, an art market from 2 p.m. until dark, live mural painting, Carino Taco Truck, live rap performance by WermOne 312 and a live DJ performance and light show by DJ Freddy B with Ricky Sauce in the mix.
A portion of the show's proceeds will go to Team in Training marathon runner Dru Rey, who will be raising money for the marathon in San Francisco on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Contemporary urban artists include: 2:12, Daniel Anguilu, Briks, Empire INS, Andy Grotfeldt, Paty Lennon, Jesus Omar Ochoa (AWRE), Beau & Jessica Pope, Jessica Rice, Michael C. Rodriguez, Shreddi, Joseph Walker and Wiley Robertson.
