Art opening reception: "Celebrating the Archie Bray Foundation"

In conjunction with National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts conference, 18 Hands Gallery opens "Celebrating Bray Foundation 2012 Resident & Visiting Artists," featuring the work of more than 30 clay artists affiliated with the Archie Bray Foundation in Helena, Mont.

Andrew Gilliat Mel Griffin The Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts (Bray) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the enrichment of the ceramic arts. The Bray offers artist residencies to ceramic artists from all over the world, a year-round sales gallery and exhibition program, workshops and classes for all ages and the Archie Bray Clay Business selling ceramic materials, equipment and supplies.

This exhibition showcases some of the many artists who shared their talents with the Bray during 2012, both visiting artist/instructors as well as those completing artist residencies. Proceeds of sales during the exhibition will be contributed back to the Foundation to support future ceramic residencies.
