Houston Arts Alliance is hosting a block party to celebrate Arts & Humanities month as well as an opening reception for Alliance Gallery's exhibition You Are Here. The event takes the party to the streets with a Saint Arnold Brewing Co. beer garden, Htown StrEATs food truck and music by DJ Baohaus.

You Are Here gives a taste of four artists' perceptions of Houston without the artificial constraint of Loopcentric prejudices. Each artist in his or her own way expresses something about the effort and pleasure of being in Houston. The exhibition features photographs by Chuy Benitez and Divya Murthy, paintings by El Franco Lee II and a site specific installation by Coolidge.
