Mary Zimmerman’s play, Metamorphoses, based on the myths of Ovid, envelops the Art Factory stage with breathtaking imagery and surrealistic storytelling. Set in and around a giant pool of water, these ancient stories of poignance, humor and tragedy are brought to life through the use of movement, puppetry, music, and many more imaginative theatrical techniques.
If Metamorphoses were a film, it would be rated R due to violence, sexual situations, and some mild language. Parental discretion is advised.
