Based on Louisa May Alcott’s novel of the same name, Little Women follows the four March sisters as they navigate growing up while their father is off serving in the Union Army during the Civil War. When Jo March is given the suggestion to write from within, she sets out to tell the stories of her sisters: the traditional Meg, romantic Amy, timid Beth, and their beloved mother, Marmee.
The musical features a book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein.
