Women in the Visual and Literary Arts (WiVLA) opens its first show of 2013, "Earth / Energy: Through Women's Eyes," with a reading of selected literary works during the event. Visual art was juried by Sharon Dennard, literary submissions were juried by Jacqueline Simon. This exhibition and reading were conceived to coordinate with the 47th Annual Conference of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts and will feature a variety of juried art works from ceramics to paintings & literary selections.
