Art Colony Association presents Artist Talk with Tony Paraná, offering an exclusive preview of his artwork before it’s spotlighted at one of the top outdoor fine art festivals in the U.S. Guests can sip on complimentary refreshments and learn about the Art Colony Association, the producer of Bayou City Art Festival Downtown. Art enthusiasts are encouraged to purchase their tickets to Bayou City Art Festival Downton, get excited about fine art and giving back to the local community.

Paraná is a local self-taught mixed media artist that is inspired by his home state Bahia, Brazil. His work incorporates everyday scenes, memories and experiences while growing up in the northern eastern region of Brazil, which is known for its rich colors, flavorful foods and beautiful landscapes. Paraná works primarily in oil paintings, mixed media, sculptures and mosaics. In 2007, when Paraná arrived to Houston, he immediately became involved in the local arts community.
