The Art Colony Association, Inc. will celebrate 48 years of fine art and giving back to local nonprofits at Bayou City Art Festival in Memorial Park. As one of the nation’s premier outdoor fine art events, the three-day festival will provide patrons with the opportunity to personally meet artists, view original works, and purchase world-class art.
The 2019 featured artist is Julio C. Garcia, a 2D Mixed Media artist from Jacksonville, Florida. Garcia, along with 300 artists from around the country representing 19 different disciplines, will showcase their art.
The festival benefits local nonprofit partners and features live music, local food vendors and food trucks, beverages, entertainment, a Children’s Creative Zone, and more. An exhibition of student artwork composed of the top 30 finalists from the Middle School Art Competition will also be featured at Bayou City Art Festival Memorial Park.
