Inspired by the life and story of Saint Drogo the Ugly, local artists Nicholas Papas, Jim John Marks and Alan Richards share their perception of what it was like for Saint Drogo to live as a hermit, voluntarily locked away in a cell attached to a church after an affliction rendered his face severely deformed. His only connection to the outside world was a window from which he received the Eucharist and food rations for the rest of his life.
In their artistic collaboration, Papas, Marks and Richards answer the questions: What did he see? What did he hear, physically and metaphysically through his window?
Guests are asked to RSVP here in advance.
