Archway Gallery presents a virtual show entitled "#BlackLivesMatter - Time for Change!," featuring works from several of the gallery’s artists. The exhibit can be viewed online through July 31.

“Like everyone, we have been horrified by the continuing police violence against Black people in recent times and are excited to witness a societal shift in people's attitude to these acts of aggression," said Organizing artist Tracey Meyer. "This show is in response to the unnecessary deaths which have occurred during police custody, the calls for justice, and the ground swell of public opinion against racism in the United States and around the world. We rejoice in this new appetite for change.”

Archway artists will donate 50 percent of any proceeds from this show to the Houston-based organization Community Artists’ Collective, which seeks to provide the educational and cultural link among African American artists and all communities to inspire unlimited creativity.
