Culinary Adventures: A Renaissance Banquet celebrates Renaissance France and the craftsmen who built Notre-Dame. Visitors can step into the world of Francis I and Leonardo da Vinci at a Renaissance banquet in Houston’s historic Julia Ideson Library.

The architectural gem sets the stage for an evening of music, wine, and cuisine inspired by 16th-century France. This event will feature a historically informed menu created in collaboration with culinary historians Ken Albala and Volker Bach, paired with wines from vineyards that date back to the Renaissance. Live period music will complete the immersive experience.

Guests will also be the first to preview of the new exhibit: "The Great Restoration Adventure: Celebrating the Craftsmen of Notre-Dame," highlighting the skilled artisans restoring the iconic cathedral. Representatives from Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris will be on hand to share updates on the restoration’s progress. The event will celebrate the artistry, culture, and innovation of the Renaissance - and the enduring legacy of Notre-Dame.
