April Murphy Auction will present a night of good food and great art, all to benefit keeping Houston beautiful. Over the past year, renowned local artist April Murphy has created 12 monthly paintings to support the non-profit organization Keep Houston Beautiful.
Murphy's special collection is comprised of original paintings featuring animals - like armadillos and possums - that are indigenous to the Houston area. These colorful and inspiring paintings are full of references designed to teach us about the animals and their natives habitats.
The entire collection will be auctioned off on October 14 and 100 percent of the funds raised will support Keep Houston Beautiful, the city's leading non-profit organization promoting beautification and litter reduction. The event is from 6:30-9:30 pm (silent auction from 6:30-8:30 pm) at Winter Street Studios, Studio 3B.
