Apollo Chamber Players will explore the multicolored sound-world of the theremin, an electronic instrument played without physical contact by the performer. Leipzig-based theremin wunderkind Carolina Eyck joins Apollo for her first ever concert in the Bayou City, with an arresting theremin-featuring septet by Czech composer Martinů and new works by Ms. Eyck.

The concert on February 15 will be at Bayou Theater at the University of Houston - Clear Lake, and the performance on February 16 will be at MATCH.
