Apama Mackey Gallery will presents Patrick Turk's "Trip Harder...Go Farther." Intense detail in microcosms, most commonly said of Turk’s work, is the best introduction anyone can give when describing what your eyes will unfold once you focus on these intricate and gorgeous assemblages. The Texas-born Turk creates a sense of nostalgia and mystery in every surface he creates. He has been prolific in exhibitions throughout Texas and Los Angeles, has been published several times on print media, including creating an album cover, as well as most recently in author Robert Craig Bunch’s fall 2016 book, The Art of Found Objects: Interviews with Texas Artists (Texas A&M Press).
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display until January 13, 2018.
