Don Wilson Glenn's American Menu opens at Ensemble Theatre Feb. 4.

The story tells the story of five African American women working at a segregated lunch counter shortly after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and just before the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.

After the death of a young neighborhood boy, the women engage in a series of conversations about life on the cusp of change.
