This premiere black-tie event will welcome over 450 of Galveston Island's business leaders, philanthropists, and doctors in their finest cowboy garb and country glitz. The event, sponsored by University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB), will honor 20 years of its past chairs.

The gala, chaired by UTMB's Associate Vice President Annette Macias-Hoag, and Director of Care Services and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, Christine Wade, will feature live entertainment from The Line Up, a dazzling silent and live auction featuring auctioneer Sean O'Donohue, and powerful testimonies from heart attack and stroke survivors, including a UTMB nurse who had a heart attack while working at the hospital. The event will also welcome KPRC's Jonathan Martinez, a Galveston native, as the emcee.
