Alan Berliner
The Aurora Picture show is screening award-winning documentary filmmaker Alan Berliner's Wide Awake, an exploration of insomnia.
The film examines how deeply sleeplessness has affected Berliner's creative and family life and is at times humorous and painful. The documentary is being shown, appropriately, at Frenetic Theater.
A free video salon discussion with Berliner will follow at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Aurora Video Library at 1524 Sul Ross.
