Earth Day Houston (EDH) is the signature event of Air Alliance Houston where clean air, clean water, and healthy lifestyle choices are advocated and celebrated. This family-friendly and free-admission event allows leaders in the corporate, academic, and non-profit worlds to unite and demonstrate how simple green lifestyle choices can improve our health, create positive impact on our environment, improve and even lower our cost of living, and assure a better future for our children.
Earth Day Houston is an annual outdoor celebration, and a series of related events, that occurs annually during the month of April. Earth Day Houston events seek to elevate environmental awareness and influence the way Houstonians think, live, and work with respect to environmental sustainability.
Planned activities include eco-focused zones featuring interactive environmental awareness activities that highlight land, air, water, sustainability, healthy living, wildlife, etc.
The event also includes a Local Fare Market and Eco Artist Village in support of local products from local businesses. A kid’s stage provides family entertainment, in addition to children’s activities scattered throughout the Celebration. Our live music stage showcases some of Houston’s best local talent.
Proceeds benefit Air Alliance Houston, a local non-profit dedicated to reducing air pollution and improving public health in the Houston region.
