AIDS Foundation Houston presents World AIDS Day

AIDS Foundation Houston, Inc. will host their annual World AIDS Day event as a virtual experience. The annual fundraiser, emceed this year by Houston Public Media’s Ernie Manouse, will support AFH in its mission to end the HIV epidemic in Houston and to provide education, testing, housing and supportive services to individuals affected by HIV/AIDS.

Participants will hear from speakers including Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Judge Lina Hidalgo, former Houston Mayor Annise Parker, fashion designer Mondo Guerra, Dr. Bruce Richmond, and more.

Event programming will also feature testimonials from AFH board members and clients, performances from America's Got Talent semi-finalist Christina Wells, and iconic Houston drag superstar Dessie Love-Blake, as well as the presentation of the 2020 Shelby Hodge Vision Award to Cleve Jones by the award’s namesake, Shelby Hodge.
