AIDS Foundation Houston hosts the 27th annual AIDS Walk Houston, presented by Marathon Oil. This signature event is the city’s single greatest response in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Funds raised help local HIV/AIDS service organizations provide programs and services to thousands of Houstonians impacted. A goal of $600,000 has been set and more than 6,000 Houstonians are expected to gather to remember family and friends and to honor those living with HIV/AIDS.
While the 5K walk is free to register and participate, fundraising efforts are greatly appreciated. The day of the event, registration begins at 12 pm, the walk kicks off at 1 pm and the festivities continue at 2 pm.
