Before the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff between the University of Houston and University of Oklahoma, Bud Light Fan Fest will start the day, including a concert headlined by Houston’s award-winning 10-piece ensemble, The Suffers. The band will hit the stage at 9 am, with a special appearance by Houston rap icon Bun B.
The Suffers have redefined the sound of Gulf Coast Soul. Established in 2011, The Suffers played more than 150 shows across North America last year and made their national television debut on Late Night with David Letterman. This year, the band performed their new album on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Bud Light Fan Fest will also include prizes and the teams’ spirit walks into NRG Stadium before the game starts at 11 am.
