ADL presents the From Hate to Hope Storyteller Series. Storytelling can contribute to inclusion and connection, build confidence, and bring about change. This series uses storytelling as a powerful way to influence, teach, and inspire. Each storyteller in the series will offer stories that teach us about life, about ourselves and about others.

Stay for informal conversations that develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for other culture, and can promote a positive attitude to people from different lands, races and religions. Each storyteller has faced the ghosts of their hate-filled past in order to move on to the hope-filled future. These interactions are not about sympathy. They are about growing awareness of the reality of another's suffering and triumph over it. The outcome, in every case, is to enable us to gain respect for the other, as human beings, and as survivors of persecution, or exclusion, or difficulties of body or mind.
